Does your community offer sufficient access via public transit or shared ride services to help residents connect with social activities, jobs, health care, and other important services?
Your Finances – Learn about retirement income and the cost of long-term care. Will you have enough assets to cover our increasing lifespans? Remember, Medicare usually only pays for medical care, not for long term care services and supports around the home.

We are happy to be hosting a Virtual Donor Appreciation Event, to say THANK YOU for those who give $25 or more monthly or have donated more than $300 in the last year! You can pick up chocolate, wine, cheese & crackers from the senior center and learn about our accomplishments in 2020.

Memoir Writing Class
Memoir Writing Class: 4 week series starting Thursday, February 4 from 9:30-11:00am on Zoom
In this 4 week course Kim shows you methods to explore and write about how you made a difference, what you contributed, what you witnessed, what you learned, and how you can share your stories with others, including your descendants when they read your stories in the future. You will learn how to access buried memories through interactive techniques, sharing exercises, and non-critical discussion. You will hear great stories from others and be welcome to share your own.
Brain Fitness ClassBrain Fitness Class
Just like you exercise your body to strengthen your muscles, you can exercise your brain to stay fresh and alert! This class will be comprised of exercises that will target memory, attention, and focus.

Out of this World Virtual Trivia w/ Sylvia O'Stayformore!
Join us for a virtual Space-Themed Trivia Party with Sylvia O’Stayformore on Friday, February 17 at 7pm.
Rainbow Bingo, hosted by the delightful Sylvia O’Stayformore, has been a wildly popular and fun event for the last 5 years. While we are unable to get together for Rainbow Bingo for now, we’re not stopping the fun! We’re holding a fun, new way to see Sylvia and support the Sno-Valley Senior Center through COVID-19.
*Follow the instructions for registration at the link provided. You will also receive an email thanking you for becoming a “Fundraiser”. No fundraising is required, but all help and donations are welcome! Your registration gets you on the team of your choice and you will also receive a Zoom link before the event to join the live stream on February 19.
