Halloween is over so nothing scary to worry about, right? Unfortunately, there are still a lot of “Ifs” out there to prepare for and the list seems to be getting longer. Floods, snow storms, wind storms, heat waves, wildfires and smoke, power outages, earthquakes, and more.
If you are not sure how to prepare for a disaster, join us for Preparedness 101: The Basics. We will cover how to make a plan, a few skills to be aware of and learn, and some basic supplies to gather and have ready.
After lunch, you can put together a 72 hour kit; we will have a variety of basic supplies as a starter and information on what items you should consider adding to meet your specific needs. There will also be folks there to answer your questions about preparedness and provide resources with information.
Register to attend by going to www.snovalleysenior.org, calling 425-333-4152 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Limited kits available to be built, donations accepted for the materials.
