Re-in-Carnation Thrift Store is a volunteer run, community supported fundraising arm of the Sno-Valley Senior Center. All proceeds go to programs and services provided by SVSC benefitting area seniors.

Donating is Easy!

When you arrive, please ring the doorbell out front and wait for a volunteer to greet you there and help bring in your donation.

Bring donations during our operating hours Mon – Sat, 11am-3:30pm.

Recently we’ve been receiving an incredible number of donations, and for the time being we’re asking that you please call ahead before bringing items at 425-333-0023. Our donation intake fills up quickly, and there are times when we’re unable to accept additional donations.

Please do not leave donations after hours! We appreciate your cooperation with this, as dumping costs the Senior Center money and resources. 

We need items that are in good working order; please do not bring anything that is stained, has holes or is rusty.

  • Kitchen items: Silverware, dishes, canning jars, Tupperware, knives, etc.

  • Bedding, linens, blankets, curtains
  • Children’s clothing
    • Kids clothing limited to infant-4T
  • Limited kids toys and books will be accepted
  • Craft supplies: Fabrics & small hobbies
  • Holiday decorations: Xmas, Easter, etc.
  • Tabletop lamps
  • Misc. décor items
  • Bookends, knick-knacks, collectibles
  • Pictures and Paintings: 24”x30” or smaller
  • Backpacks and suitcases
  • Computers and monitors: less than 5 yrs old
  • Small appliances: nothing larger than a microwave
  • Limited kids toys and books will be accepted
  • Kids clothes over size 4T
  • Items larger than a microwave
  • Gas-powered tools
  • Items in poor condition: dirty, stained, torn, overworn, broken, not working etc.
  • Baby strollers, car seats and play pens

We have an amazing group of dedicated volunteers, many of whom have been here for years! It’s a fun place to work– customers are friendly, co-workers become friends and you’ll be helping your community! Shifts in sorting, organizing or cashiering are open. Applications are available at the Senior Center- stop by and fill one out and we’ll meet with you to talk about what you might like to do most!

Buying one used item reduces its carbon footprint by 82%. If everyone chose to purchase one used item (instead of new) this year, it would save:

  • 7 billion pounds of CO2 emissions
  • 11 billion KwH of energy
  • 25 billion gallons of water
  • 449 million pounds of waste
